Can We Vote Now Please?

At this point, I think it’s safe to say…

People are going to vote.

Those who had the opportunity back in 2016?

They’re showing up.

Those who are just now being granted the chance to vote?

They’re showing up too.

So no… I’m not here to preach about the importance of voting.

I think we’ve all seen enough to understand that part.

What I do want to say is this:

Don’t just go out and vote.

Understand what you’re voting for.

Because too many times, people cast their votes without really knowing the person behind the name.

Without understanding their policies.

Their history.

Their intentions.

Sometimes we choose based on familiarity.

Popularity.

Influence.

What we’ve heard.

What we’ve been told.

And listen—I’m not judging that.

I’m just saying…

That’s not enough.

Before you mail off your ballot…

Before you step into that polling place…

Pause.

Do your research.

Read.

Compare.

Question.

Make sure the person you’re choosing aligns with what you actually believe in.

Not just what sounds good in the moment…

But what you can stand on later.

Because at the end of the day, your vote is your voice.

And your voice deserves to be informed.

Intentional.

And real.

So don’t just participate.

Be aware.

Be educated.

Be sure.

Because whatever choice you make…

You should be able to live with it.

WhyNetta

I’m WhyNetta—the woman behind Life With No Breaks.

I didn’t set out to build a platform. I set out to survive, to heal, and eventually, to understand myself more honestly.

For many years, my life revolved around being strong for everyone else—raising children, holding things together, and navigating relationships that required me to shrink in order to keep the peace. After experiencing narcissistic abuse and the unraveling that followed, I reached a point where continuing as I was simply wasn’t an option. Healing became a necessity, not a trend.

Life With No Breaks grew out of that season—not from perfection, but from reflection. It became a place where I could process real life in real time: parenting, rebuilding stability, breaking generational cycles, managing fear and faith side by side, and learning how to choose myself without guilt. Writing and speaking became tools for clarity, accountability, and growth—not just for me, but for others walking similar paths.

Today, I approach life with more intention and less urgency. I believe in growth that’s honest, faith that’s grounded, and healing that doesn’t require performance. I’m still learning, still rebuilding, and still choosing better—one decision at a time.

This space is a reflection of that journey.
