Always Starting Problems
Why do people start arguments? It’s a curious behavior, especially for someone like me who avoids confrontation and finds it a waste of time. Recently, I listened to a caller on The Bert Show who admitted to starting fights with her husband to avoid going out with him. Her reason? She was ready to act single while still married. This left me baffled and laughing, but it also raised a deeper question about respect and honesty in relationships. If you’re unhappy, end the relationship respectfully—don’t create drama or pretend to be single. Temporary distractions can cost more than they’re worth.

Pride Is Debilitating
Pride can be both a strength and a stumbling block. In my journey, I’ve realized that my fierce independence often kept me from seeking help, even when I truly needed it. Rooted in past experiences, this self-reliance became a shield that hindered my growth. Through reflection, I’ve learned that asking for support isn’t weakness—it’s a step toward strength. This post explores the impact of pride on relationships, the lessons I’ve learned, and how embracing vulnerability has started to transform my path.
No Such Thing
Pride can be both a shield and a stumbling block. Reflecting on my journey, I’ve realized how excessive independence kept me from seeking help and fully embracing opportunities. While I valued self-reliance, it often came at the cost of personal growth and meaningful connections. Breaking free from the grip of pride has shown me the importance of vulnerability and the strength in accepting support.
